    Established to honor the life of the 19th century resident of Clinton, Henry Dana Washburn, a U.S. Representative and a general in the Union Army during the American Civil War.
  • Mound Cemetery ("Lower Mound") Association Fund - DONATE
    Daily upkeep and ongoing maintenance are required to care for the cemetery to combat deterioration by preserving, beautifying, and maintaining abandoned or deteriorating graves and for the care and replacement of trees, flowers, shrubbery, etc. Also, the fund assists in providing an educational benefit to the general public and promote appreciation for community history by maintaining, repairing, and restoring monuments, headstones, and grave markers of historical or architectural significance.

Fueled by local volunteers, they exist to promote and develop the game of tennis.

The program replication strategy is simple; monthly an age-appropriate book is mailed directly to the enrolled childs home at no cost to the parent. The books are mailed directly to the child in order to create a sense of excitement and bond with the books. Applicants should have intentions of pursuing a career in animal care and/or veterinary medicine and be in the process of completing the second year of the Veterinary Science Program through the Wabash River Career and Technical Education (WRCTE) Co-Operative.

    The applicant(s) must be a graduate of North Vermillion High School or South Vermillion High School and a resident of Vermillion County. Priority is to be given to applicants from North Vermillion High School. If no applicants from North Vermillion High School meet the selection criteria, then applicants from South Vermillion High School shall be considered. It is preferred, but not required, that the applicant(s) be pursuing a major in Science, Engineering, Pre-Med, or Nursing. Several criteria may be taken into consideration when selecting recipients including financial need, academics/GPA/class rank, community/volunteer service, school/work, and letters of reference.

    Provides scholarships to graduates of North Vermillion and South Vermillion High School in honor of James Chambers who served as secretary-treasurer on the County Board for forty-five years.

    Provides scholarships to graduates of South Vermillion High School. Selection criteria includes academics/GPA/class rank, community service, extracurricular activities and/or employment and financial need.
