A financial endowment is a legal structure for managing, and in many cases indefinitely perpetuating, a pool of financial, real estate, or other investments for a specific purpose according to the will of its founders and donors.
[1] Endowments are often structured so that the principal value is kept intact, while the investment income or a small part of the principal is available for use each year.

- Henry Dana Washburn Fund - DONATE
Established to honor the life of the 19th century resident of Clinton, Henry Dana Washburn, a U.S. Representative and a general in the Union Army during the American Civil War.
- Mound Cemetery ("Lower Mound") Association Fund - DONATE
Daily upkeep and ongoing maintenance are required to care for the cemetery to combat deterioration by preserving, beautifying, and maintaining abandoned or deteriorating graves and for the care and replacement of trees, flowers, shrubbery, etc. Also, the fund assists in providing an educational benefit to the general public and promote appreciation for community history by maintaining, repairing, and restoring monuments, headstones, and grave markers of historical or architectural significance.

The Community Disaster Relief Fund of Vermillion County has a purpose to leverage public and private resources and to make the greatest impact in long-term recovery efforts for individuals and communities in Fountain County impacted by a variety of disasters such as; the COVID-19 global pandemic, shootings, and natural disasters (floods, tornados, storms).

- Sportland Park Fund - DONATE
The purpose of the fund is to spruce-up Sportland Park, Clintons largest and most utilized park. The large scale project includes the renovation of the public restroom facilities, a full remodel of the Duke Energy Wildcat stage area, new turf (drought resistant natural grass) for the 2.5 acres of playing area, four-season landscaping areas to add visual appeal throughout the park, and improvements in parking, accessibility, and safety.
- West Central Indiana Community Tennis Association Fund - DONATE
The purpose of the fund is to provide support for programs which promote the development and growth of tennis, with a special emphasis on children and youth in the Clinton community and the West Central Indiana area. The group works to coordinate and maintain tennis programs and services; guaranteeing that they are open and accessible to all. These tennis enthusiasts work at the grassroots level and may act as advocates, program administrators, promoters or fund-raisers. Fueled by local volunteers, they exist to promote and develop the game of tennis.

- Dolly Parton Imagination Library Fund - DONATE
The Dolly Parton Imagination Library is a book gifting program for preschool age children birth to age 5. To enroll in the program, the children must live in a community that sponsors the Imagination Library such as Vermillion County Public Library - in Newport (Serving Helt, Highland, Eugene, and Vermillion townships). The program replication strategy is simple; monthly an age-appropriate book is mailed directly to the enrolled childs home at no cost to the parent. The books are mailed directly to the child in order to create a sense of excitement and bond with the books. This scholarship is to benefit area seniors from North Vermillion High School, Westville High School, or other senior students who attend a Wabash River Conference high school. Students pursuing a field of study or career in the trades and technical career pathway are strongly encouraged to apply along with students enrolling at a two-year or four-year public or private college or university. The 1st scholarships will be awarded to high school seniors in the spring of 2023.

The arts refer to the theory, human application and physical expression of creativity found in human cultures and societies through skills and imagination to produce objects, environments, and experiences. Major elements of the arts include visual arts (including architecture, ceramics, drawing, filmmaking, painting, photography, and sculpting), literary arts (including fiction, drama, poetry, and prose), performing arts (including dance, music, and theatre), and culinary arts (including cooking, chocolate making, and winemaking).

Applicants for the scholarship must be accepted as a part-time (minimum of 6 hours) or full-time (minimum of 12 hours) student at any two-year community college or four-year public college or university in the United States. Applicants should have intentions of pursuing a career in animal care and/or veterinary medicine and be in the process of completing the second year of the Veterinary Science Program through the Wabash River Career and Technical Education (WRCTE) Co-Operative.

- High Family Education Fund - DONATE
The applicant(s) must be a graduate of North Vermillion High School or South Vermillion High School and a resident of Vermillion County. Priority is to be given to applicants from North Vermillion High School. If no applicants from North Vermillion High School meet the selection criteria, then applicants from South Vermillion High School shall be considered. It is preferred, but not required, that the applicant(s) be pursuing a major in Science, Engineering, Pre-Med, or Nursing. Several criteria may be taken into consideration when selecting recipients including financial need, academics/GPA/class rank, community/volunteer service, school/work, and letters of reference.

The application process is open to all USA and Canadian dependents of current employees of IEA and their subsidiary companies - anywhere employees reside, who are pursuing a college major in the areas of: engineering, construction management, safety or construction related degree fields.

The award is based upon Academic Performance (GPA/Class Rank) and an individuals performance in the entire Wabash River Conference, for High School Baseball, which highlights their excellence, exemplariness, and outstanding performance amidst their peers in the Wabash River Conference.

Provides scholarships to graduates of North Vermillion and South Vermillion High School in honor of James Chambers who served as secretary-treasurer on the County Board for forty-five years.
- Wildcat Scholarship Fund - DONATE
Provides scholarships to graduates of South Vermillion High School. Selection criteria includes academics/GPA/class rank, community service, extracurricular activities and/or employment and financial need.
- William and Nellie Hendrix Scholarship Fund - DONATE
Provides scholarships to graduates of South Vermillion and North Vermillion High School who have a GPA of 2.0 and above, have a compelling financial need and exhibit strong academic performance.

Provides a scholarship to graduates of South Vermillion and North Vermillion High School students. The scholarship is renewable.
- Yale and Orthanna Yager Scholarship Fund - DONATE
Provides scholarships to graduates of South Vermillion High School who have a GPA of 3.5 and above and exhibit a financial need.
