Western Indiana Community Foundation Scholarships

Scholarship Applicatons MUST be completed ONLINE
What the application includes and requires:
- General information regarding applicant including contact information, education, awards, activities, community service and employment;
- Letters of recommendations — These are requested and submitted online through the application;
[ request requires an email address for each recommender ]
- Transcript(s) — requested online through the application;
- Financial information — An Expected Family Contribution (EFC) amount is used to determine financial need. Scholarship applicants must use the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to obtain their EFC amount (done through the Federal Student Aid website). Applicants are required to give their EFC and attach a copy of the EFC form to their applications. [please see FAFSA instructions ]

Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship Application
Open Date: July 1, 2024
Due Date: September 1, 2024
All other scholarship applications
Open Date: January 1, 2025
Due Date: March 1, 2025
Applicants can check the deadline for each scholarship they save to their “My Applications” list online. Each online scholarship becomes valid only when (1) completed in its entirety and (2) by clicking “Submit” by the scholarship deadline.
Application Instructions:
NEW USERS:
Applicants can access the scholarship application by clicking on the "Scholarship Portal" box (or click
here). This will take you to a new webpage where you will be prompted to set up an account with a user name and password before you are directed to the scholarship application.
RETURNING USERS:
If you are a returning user you will have to login with your user name and password. Once you have started an application you may save it and return to it later.
ALL USERS:
You must click on each scholarship and complete a few pre-qualifying questions, and click “Submit” by the due date in order for that scholarship to be considered.
