The Attica Consolidated School Corporation, in partnership with the Attica Community Foundation, is proud to announce the establishment of the Attica Student Meal Assistance Fund, a new initiative aimed at alleviating the burden of unpaid meal balances for students.
This fund is designed to eliminate barriers to accessing nutritious meals at school, ensuring that no student feels stigmatized or distracted due to an inability to afford breakfast or lunch. The fund promotes fairness, respect, and a supportive learning environment for all students.
“Every child deserves the opportunity to succeed academically without the added worry of meal insecurity,” said Dale White, CEO of the Community Foundation. “This fund helps us ensure that our students are well-fed, focused, and ready to learn.”
The Attica Student Meal Assistance Fund serves as a bridge for families experiencing temporary financial challenges, allowing students to access the variety of nutritious options they need to succeed.
Contributions to the Attica Student Meal Assistance Fund are tax deductible and can be made online at www.wicf-inc.org or mailed to: Attica Community Foundation, ATTN: Attica Student Meal Assistance Fund, PO Box 161, Attica, IN 47918.
