The Attica Consolidated School Corporation, in partnership with the Attica Community Foundation, has established the Help-a-Teacher Fund, a new initiative created to support classroom teachers within the school district.
This fund addresses the financial challenges educators often face when purchasing classroom supplies out of pocket. Fund allocation will be overseen by the Superintendent of the Attica Consolidated School Corporation, in partnership with school principals and teachers, ensuring resources are used effectively to meet classroom needs.
The Help-a-Teacher Fund can be utilized to purchase a wide range of essential supplies, including writing tools, paper, books, arts and crafts materials, charts, maps, online educational resources, cleaning supplies, and more.
“Teachers play a vital role in shaping the future of our community. This fund is one way to show our appreciation for their hard work and dedication,” said Dale White, CEO of the Community Foundation. “By supporting their classrooms, we ensure that our students have access to the tools and resources they need for a successful educational experience.”
Contributions to the Help-a-Teacher Fund are tax deductible and can be made online at www.wicf-inc.org or mailed to: Attica Community Foundation, ATTN: Help-a-Teacher, PO Box 161, Attica, IN 47918.
