1. ARTS, CULTURE, and HISTORIC PRESERVATION
Fountain County 1842 Historic Clerk’s Building Fund
Provides funding for operating and maintaining the historic 1842 clerk’s building museum.

Fountain County Art Council
Provides funding for promotion of the visual and performing arts, culture, and historical preservation in the Wabash Valley.

Fountain County Landmarks - Mural Preservation Fund
Established to provide support for the restoration of the historic murals at the Fountain County Courthouse. 

Historic Sites of Fountain County Fund
Provides financial support for the upkeep and maintenance of historic sites in Fountain County.
 

 
2. FAITH
Gideon’s International Fund
Provides funds for the H-R Gideon’s to purchase and distribute Bibles and/or New Testaments worldwide.
 

 
3. COMMUNITY ENHANCEMENT
Bank of Western Indiana Projects Fund*
Provides support for projects in Fountain County.

Charles & Kathryn Howard Memorial for d’Arlier Programs
To support cultural and educational programs held at George d’Arlier properties for the benefit of Veedersburg and surrounding communities.

Cain Township Cemetery Preservation Fund*
Provides grants for the preservation of the cemeteries located in Cain Township.

Charles & Rosemarie L. Haas Fund
Provides grants for projects and organizations as approved by the Board of Directors of the Southeast Fountain Community Foundation.

Family Crisis Shelter Sumption Fund
Provides grants in Fountain County for services to aid victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.

Hillsboro/Cain Township Community Fund
Provides support through grants awarded for community projects in Hillsboro and Cain Township as directed by the officers of the Hillsboro Community Booster Club.

MasterGuard Community Projects Fund
Provides financial support for projects in Fountain County for programs including Health and Safety. Also provides support for scholarships for Automotive, Vocational and Mechanical Engineering fields of study.

Needy Children Fund
Grant funds are provided to the health supervisor of the Southeast Fountain Elementary School to be used for children in need.

Veedersburg American Legion Post 288
Provides support for charitable purposes not limited to community projects in the Veedersburg and Van Buren township in Fountain County.

Southeast Fountain Community Fund
Provides grants to meet the ever-changing needs in the communities of: Veedersburg, Hillsboro, Kingman, Wallace, Mellott and Newtown.
 

 
4. COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS
4-H Fairgrounds Foundation Fund
Provides financial support for capital expenditures at the 4-H Fairgrounds and/or award scholarship grants.

4-H Junior Leader’s Fund
Provides financial support for projects and activities of the Fountain County 4-H Junior Leaders.

Sam Miller 4-H Memorial Fund
Provides an annual monetary award to a 4-H member who has excelled in the study of nature, with priority given to forestry, weeds, birds or wildlife programs.

Veedersburg Friends of the Library Fund
Provides support for the Veedersburg Public Library to purchase books/equipment for use in the library.

Fountain County ARC Fund
Provides support for projects of the Fountain County Association of Retarded Citizens’ Shawnee Center to carry out and fulfill its role and mission.

Fountain County Art Council
Provides funding to develop an awareness of and participation in visual and performing arts and to increase and/or promote historical preservation and culture within the Wabash Valley area.

NICHES Land Protection Fund
Provides support to programs which promote land and wildlife conservation for current and future generations.

The Foster Closet Pass-Through Fund*
Provides support for the purchase of items that address the physical needs of the children in the Fountain County foster care system and other essentials critical to their care.

Wabash Senior Citizens Operations Fund
Provides support for the operations for the Wabash Senior Citizens (Friendship Circle Center) in Fountain County.

Wabash Senior Citizens Field of Interest
Provides support for programs and projects which are of interest to senior citizens at the Friendship Circle Center.
 

 
5. SCHOLARSHIPS
The following scholarships are available to graduating Fountain Central High School Seniors continuing their education by attending an accredited college or university.

Arista Jean Perry Memorial Scholarship
Provides a scholarship to a Fountain Central High School graduate pursuing a four-year college degree, must have a 2.0 GPA and/or be in the top 50% of the graduating class and exhibit strong leadership, character and conduct.

Bradley Fishero Memorial Scholarship Fund
Provides a scholarship to a Fountain Central High School graduate.

Bud Smith – United Methodist Church Scholarship Fund
Provides a scholarship to a graduate of Fountain Central High School with priority given to an individual pursuing a baccalaureate degree in theology at a college with an established program for religious studies.

CentreBank Scholarship Fund
Provides scholarships to graduates of Fountain Central or Covington High School pursuing a degree in the business and/or finance field.

Dave Sanders Memorial Scholarship Fund
Provides scholarships to graduates of Fountain Central High School pursuing a degree in the teaching field.

Dr. Malcolm C. Spencer, M.D. Scholarship Fund
Provides scholarships to Fountain Central or Covington High school students pursuing a degree in medicine or nursing.

Elouise J. Shade Memorial Scholarship Fund
Established to provide scholarships to graduates of Fountain Central High School who major in music, special, elementary or secondary education.

H. Wilma Fisher Memorial Scholarship Fund
Provides scholarships to graduates of Fountain Central High School pursuing a career in the “Arts or Fine Arts”.

Herschel & Barbara Clark Athletic Scholarship Fund
Provides an award to a student-athlete at Fountain Central High School who exhibits strong leadership, character and sportsmanship.

Jamie Lynn Stockdale Memorial Scholarship Fund
Provides scholarships to graduates of Fountain Central High School pursuing a career in health care.

Jessica E. Coats Memorial Scholarship Fund
Scholarship candidates must be graduates of Fountain Central, Covington or Attica High School and pursuing a nursing career.

John W. Donovan Memorial Scholarship Fund
Provides a scholarship for a graduate of Fountain Central High School who is in the top 25% of the graduating class and exhibits strong leadership, character and conduct.

Layton W. Hathaway Memorial Scholarship Fund
Provides a scholarship for a graduate of Fountain Central High School pursuing a vocational trade career pathway.

Fountain County Tuition Assistance Fund
Provides financial support for book and equipment expenses to a Fountain Central and Covington High School graduate.

Gene & Nona Martin Scholarship Fund
Provides scholarships to students residing in Kingman or Mill Creek Township.

Herman & Genevieve Simmons Scholarship
Provides scholarships to students residing in Fulton and Mill Creek Townships in Fountain County.

Jackson Township Scholarship
Provides scholarship for graduates of Fountain Central High School that live in Jackson Township.

Paul G. Ingersoll Scholarship Fund
Provides scholarships to graduates of Fountain Central High School in their second year of college.

Mellott Community Bible Church Fund
Provides funds to award scholarships to graduates of an accredited area high school. Priority will be given to individuals who are members of the Mellott Community Bible Church.

Purdue Opportunity Award Scholarship*
Provides a scholarship to a graduate of a Fountain County high school.

Rafferty Memorial Scholarship Fund
Provides scholarship for graduates of Fountain Central High School that reside in the Hillsboro area/Cain Township.

Reagan & Hazel Mallett Scholarship Fund
Scholarship for an applicant majoring in agriculture business operations or agriculture economics.

Rick Williams Memorial Scholarship
Provides a scholarship to an area high school graduate who has resided in Fountain or Warren County for the prior 12 months. Children and grandchildren of Old National Bank employees supersede other eligible applicants.

Southeast Fountain Scholarship Fund*
Provides scholarships to graduates of Fountain Central High School who exhibit a financial need and have at least a 2.75 GPA.

Steel Grip Scholarship Fund
Provides scholarships to a Fountain Central and Covington High School graduate furthering their education. Children or grandchildren of Steel Grip employees supersede all other candidates.
 

 
6. EDUCATION
Kathy Perry Memorial Education Fund
Established to provide an annual supply of hardbound books to the libraries of the Attica, Covington and Southeast Fountain Elementary Schools.

Southeast Fountain School Corporation Education Endowment
Provides support of education projects and programs not met through the regular educational budgets.
 

 
7. ADMINISTRATION

Provides the donor the opportunity to support the Southeast Fountain Community Foundation’s internal operations.
